Mestská Pivnica was created in the basement of Hotel TeleDom as a restaurant space under a historic brick vault. For years it hosted family celebrations, weddings and corporate dinners — a piece of Košice's gastronomic history.

After thorough restoration, we're reopening the space for family celebrations in Košice — birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and small weddings of up to 40 guests. Historic brick vault, in-house catering from the hotel kitchen and on-site accommodation for guests.

The original underground space beneath the historic vault is a piece of Košice's gastronomic history — an atmosphere you won't find in any modern hall.

The hotel's home-style kitchen

Catering is prepared by the hotel restaurant's chef from fresh ingredients — plated menu, buffet or finger-food tables to suit the character of your event.

Accommodation for guests

31 rooms in four categories right above the restaurant — your guests can stay at the hotel after the celebration at a discounted rate.

Private venue

Pivnica has a separate entrance and when booked it remains exclusively for your party — no incidental hotel guests or restaurant foot traffic.

How many guests can Mestská Pivnica accommodate? +

Mestská Pivnica's private space holds 20 to 40 guests — ideal for family celebrations, birthdays and intimate weddings in Košice. For larger events we recommend the Átrium (up to 80 guests) or the Rakócziho salónik (up to 60 guests).

What events can I host there? +

Family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, small weddings, corporate dinners and memorial gatherings. The atmosphere of the historic brick vault is at its best for family celebrations in Košice.

Is the menu included in the venue price? +

The venue and menu are invoiced separately. The chef will put together an offer based on the type of event and number of guests — plated menu, buffet or finger-food tables. Specific prices are agreed in the contract.

Can we bring our own decorations, music or cake? +

Yes. You can bring your own decorations, music and cake — we provide the venue with a stage area, power supply and chilled display for the cake. Live music is officially permitted until 02:00.

Can guests stay overnight at the hotel after the event? +

Hotel TeleDom has 31 rooms in four categories right above the restaurant. We offer discounted accommodation for your event's guests — just arrange the number of rooms when booking the date.

How does booking a date work? +

The date is confirmed after mutual agreement on terms and signing of the contract with a deposit. The online booking form is in the Celebrations section, or contact us directly at the reception.
